Miki and Teru are both well written and developed and the manga gives insight for both of them. Their dynamics are interesting and believable, and they have great chemistry. There's also no typical seme/uke power dynamics, one tops and the other bottoms but they stand as equals and both have an active role during sex (because you know, being a bottom doesn't equal to being passive).
The sex scenes are very good too! They're hot and there's lots of communication, which is nice since I don't often see it in yaoi. The smut is well integrated into the story and doesn't feel gratuitious nor distracts from the plot.
As for bad points, I don't like the treatment of the (only) female character, who is ridiculously antagonic and seems to be there just as a plot device. Also de entire dog theme gets a bit repetitive after a while.
In summary, an enjoyable read, with drama bits, funny bits and quite a lot of action. If you're tired of cliched stories with wimpy ukes and dominat semes, read this one for a nice change.
