While there are not many chapters available in English yet, one must understand the slow pace of this manga. Characterization is not yet prominent until later on in the story, when it becomes absolutely necessary to take note of. The ideals concern basic survival and understanding, and only after you understand how to survive can you understand who you're really surviving with.

As a whole, this story could use some work, but since it's only at chapter fifty or so at the moment, there is plenty of time to see what happens later. As of right now, it's a decent enough story with enough death and craziness to disturb anyone to a small degree.

The art is fairly mediocre, and the artist seems to cut a few corners on the people themselves. Large boobs, fairly plain faces, and musculature is non-descriptive. However, the artistry of the animals roaming through the island is quite detailed, and one can definitely tell of the grace or majesty of each beast. The artist is quite decent at using his artistry to demonstrate stressful scenes throughout the manga, and I do find myself a little anxious to see what happens next at times.

As a whole, I rate this a 6/10, as there is a long way to go before I can really know how this manga rates.
