Story - 6: Take whatever i have said above, and slap demons and angels on some of it and you are done. MC has made a deal with a devil, and the devil grants the MC 3 wishes in exchange for the MC's soul. Until the devil grants 3 wishes, the devil will live with the MC. As the story progress, more girls join MC's harem and add more comedy to his life. Not the most original of stories, especially if you are a fan of shounens/harems/romcoms, you would have come across a similar manga of this premise, but harem romcoms are not known for having the best stories. No, you read a harem romcom mostly for the characters, their quirks and interactions between them.
Characters - 7: Keita is your run-of-the-mill student who chanced upon the devil princess, Maki. Maki is your airheaded devil who, despite being a devil PRINCESS, knows next to nothing about being a devil, going so far as to read a guidebook written by her mother, in front of the person she is contracted to. These are the two main leads of manga. As the story progresses, they will meet other human, devils, angels and familiars. Most of the characters are not particularly memorable, but will provide some enjoyment as you read the manga. Many have motivations that will lead them into conflicts with the other members of keita's harem, and it is mostly up to keita to resolve them. Which is why, to keita's credit, he has matured a bit towards the end of the manga. Do not get me wrong, the characters are fun as you read along with the fanservice and typical romcom events, but none of them has done anything memorable that will make you remember them after you have finished.
Art - 8: The art is actually pretty decent. It starts off simple with scenes that require little flair and details, but in later chapter, with battles and fights going on, the art ramps up and delivers more eye candy. Its art style is from a bygone era of the early 2000s, and the art is done well enough for me to distinguish all of the characters apart easily.
Enjoyment - 7: I am a huge fan of the harem romcom series, and i have seen my fair share of harem romcom tropes, events and character archetypes. As such, it takes quite a feat to impress me. This isn't one of them. It is enjoyable, fun and a nice time-killer in between lessons or work. But when all is said and done, you realise that you can barely name any of the characters.
Overall - 7: If you are a fan of the Harem romcom series and would like something within your comfort zone, or if harem romcoms are your guilty pleasure, you can give this a shot. It does not break any new boundaries, and all the harem romcom cliches are there. Are the cliches overused? Yes. Are they still enjoyable? Yes.
