I just recently bought volume 3, the final volume in the series. They only told of what Gankutsuou did to one of the three men who "betrayed" him (not gonna say who), and then they kinda scattered the rest of the characters to the wind.
While I did like the manga, I truly and deeply prefer the anime. Like Blood +, for me, the manga left me unsatisfied and somewhat cheated.
