It's a different experience, a static one I would say. Here you will experience words, conversations, long conversations. If you are a fan of pure action, don't watch, it's almost without it.
We meet Araragi-kun (Araragi being oh oh oh in japanese) which was recently attacked by a vampire, so now he is a vampire in in 1/8th, so then he meets a girl that weights 1 kilogram and keeps school equipment inside her body, and then he meets a snail girl, which would follow him everywhere.
YES THAT IS BAKEMONOGATARI, A ghoststory.
It's really hard to describe what this anime represents. Im gonna try to do it, the best I can.
You would hear simple conversations, they might last for half of a episode. Simple subjects are moved there. Those very conversations would act as snowballs, making a simple subject a big matter, turning it around so the point of the whole conversation would flip around, to be something else. It's crazy how writers wrote the script for it, they are geniuses.
But if I was to explain the plot in a easy way. It's a exceptional story, of a group of young people being possesed by different "beings", which you metaphorically read as - problems.
It's weird guys, it's just very weird.

VIBE:
Vibe makes this whole thing a good thing. It's a anime where they would use a lot of dialogues, meaning the voiceacting must be good. Well because listening to voices without good visual background is not as entertainting, they would throw some nice animations there.
First of all what you will experience is being overwhelmed. It will be difficult to comprehend what are they even talking about, to finally realize that it is simple. And that is the vibe, it's a big f-ing mystery. The characters and their development won't reveal anything, you will have to read through the lines and discover what exactly is going on.
It's a game of metaphors.

ART STYLE:
They wanted to make the artstyle special. And yeah it is. I personally call it squarey, the people and props around have a certain square shape. it is weird, but makes good cooperation with everything else.
The other thing I like about the art style is that they would change the color scheme based on who is the main person in the scene, more pink there you go it's there. More yellow, which Araragi-san uses, well here you go, red one? Oh yeah the other character uses it.
I also love how they would insanely use props in the series, putting a lot of them in one place, or not placing a single one. Background is truly a mystery in this anime.

MUSIC/VOICEACTING:
Can't really talk about music, it is faint, the main focus is on voiceacting.
Voiceacting had to be the main thing here, it is the most important element in the series. So yeah all of the voices are chose wisely, every single one of them had to sound original, and it had to be pleasant. I think they managed to do that.

STORYLINE:
Well it's really hard to follow the story line in this anime. Especially when so much talking happens. But basically it's nice, yet very simple. Araragi would stumble upon various problems of other people, trying to help them with his knowledge, or knowledge of someone elses. That way he develops and makes new connections.
There is also a good chunk of romance in it, a pretty nice one. I would call it weirdly-platonic.

CONCLUSION:
Well in conclusion, I recommend it to people that are into reflection, and maybe a chill out. It's a original concept with a lot of work put into it, good work to be honest. It's hard to comprehend, but fun.
