The manga has a theme which is quite rare nowadays "Food" and "Cooking" with this may be hard to please some people but "shokugeki in Souma" managed to leave the nice manga and fun to read mainly by the easy way that they explain the issues cooking (which can be difficult for people who do not understand any of it).
The manga art and amazing and mesmerizing taken by Tosh (an artist hentai XD) Mostly the food incredibly detailed textures of what a sense of realism in the manga.
the manga and interesting to read and is not one of the greatest of Weekly Shonen jump but he rose to prominence and became one of the most famous (which is rare since it is a topic that has not really featured in the magazine) scenes in which the characters are not cooking are good also what does the manga oscillate in a theme as it also involves the lives of the characters.
Finally I recommend the manga, it is good for those who love manga with alternative themes.
