The plot and characters are perfect! It starts with the present as we later soon start to learn more about their pasts. The events that continue on really urge me to continue to watch them. Unlike others that are mainly for fans (like me), this anime is based on a real life event. Historical fiction was never really my genre, but this anime made it an exception. There are one or two characters that piss me off sometimes, but the good characters over power them. I'm usually looking out at the art, but Rurouni Kenshin is a classic. The art didn't matter at all, in fact, I think it was pretty awesome!
The soundtracks used in this series are breathtaking and so amazing! I have most of the soundtracks downloaded on my computer! The soundtracks are very well composed and fit the scene or character shown perfectly!
Overall, this series deserves a 10 from me.
