After watching Ninja Scroll, Ninja Resurrection, Basilisk or even Blood Reign, this is a piece of SH@T !! If you don't compare it to the above animes, it would be bad, but not as bad. Wether it's fair or not, you have to compare it to others that are like it and this maybe one of the worst. Hakkenden was even better. Animation wasn't very good and action was generic and not graphic at all. Ninjas cut people and it needs to be shown. Not fake red gashes and piss-poor blood sprays. Character development was there, but after about 20 minutes, I just didn't care anymore. Being in the mood for a ninja anime, I put in Ninja Reurrection and was amazed at how much more interesting it was than this one.
