- The main characters are both ex-hitmen trying to live a normal life - A lot of goofy and funny humor, occasional dad jokes - Likeable side characters

Both are stories with hitmen who, for some reason or another, had to give up their hitman life or at least have a "no-killing" policy set up on them, but unfortunately for them, they get in all sorts of troubles involving other people who want to harm them or the friends they made along the way.

These manga are about semi-retired hitmen, both of which are considered the best of the best, on top of this both manga lean very heavy into their comedy tags and love to make fun of the fact that the main character is a serial murder machine with a very unusual and unexpected day job

*other way around* since MaL's outdated website coding always detects the incorrect work to be recommended Funnily enough both MCs are considered as the greatest hitmen ever in their environment. "The Fable" needs way more recognition so please go read it. One of the very few mangas with 10/10 characters (Yamaoka is such an incredible villain) and the manga portrays the new-age Yakuza very realistically, since it's not necessarily the typical unrealistic assumptions that videogames, films and other works have regarding the Yakuza.

Both MCs are known as the greatest hitmen in their own respective story, They also have something in common that they have this "No kill policy'" handicap. Both are hilarious at times,The Fable needs more audience! It also shows how the yakuza operate on the modern world.
