Both heroines are loners who are very perceptive and who are not afraid to speak their minds; despite their bluntness, both eventually get appreciated and befriended. Warau Kanokosama is more like a series of short s stories, however, with the same main character.
They both have a main character that bluntly states the truth about people and knows people's true nature. Both girl's have no friends and when anyone tries to become friends they push them away.
