Both mangas show the budding relationship between a vampire and a human. Both also show the difficulties and hardships faced in order to become how they are as of now. However, Orange Marmalade is much more long and shows more of the developing relationship, whereas Fushigi no Maria-kun is shorter and not as so complex. If you've liked one, you'd probably like the other.
Both manga show the trouble and difficultys an vampire has to cope with in the human society. Both storys are about the love between human and vampire.
