Tonari no 801-chan helped inspire Fujoshi Kanojo and offers a slightly less crazed fujoshi lead (don't let the green monster fool you!). Tonari no 801-chan is more comedy based and less romantic. However, Fujoshi Kanojo's "romance" is hampered by the girl's over-the-top behavior.
