Area 88
|
LOGH and Area 88, while quite different in setting, have similar feel and themes. They're both 80s OVAs with a military setting. By being in OVA format, they don't shy away when showing violence, so there's plenty of blood to be seen. This does a good job of provoking the anti-war themes present in both.
I really think if you like one you'd probably like the other, due to them being made in the same time period and their similar themes and characters.
