Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu, Kimi no Na wa. Recommendations
Both are phenomenal movies that handle a beautiful romance that explores the themes of loss as well as stretches the bonds of a relationship through time and space. Haruhi is a bit more introspective and downtrodden, while Kimi no Na wa is a more upbeat movie.
Finding and bringing back the one mc loves... also includes lost memory, supernatural, time travel, etc.
Both movies are masterfully directed and gain high marks in all aspects that a viewer would use to critically watch film.
