Princess Tutu, Shoujo☆Kageki Revue Starlight Recommendations
Both feature a school for teenagers who want to become stage girls - artists. While in Princess Tutu the girls want to be ballerinas (and there are boys who want that, too), in Revue they can follow any path they like, such as acting, singing, dancing, etc. Amidst all that, some fantastical elements exist, be it a talking giraffe or a boy whose heart was broken in many pieces. Both also feature fights that involve dancing or other kind of stage performances.
Both shows are about defying fate with dancing and surreal battles that are more emotional than physical. Very creative and untraditional.
