Both contain already dead characters that show their backstories through the show and both of them balance comedy and drama well
Two series that might make you question what you are watching after the first few episodes but eventually pull you in and you just go along with it. Both of these anime focus on groups of teenagers that are already dead. Additionally to that there are three main reasons these two series give a somewhat similar feel:
1. The comedy of the two shows is similar at the times. It is often related to the fact that characters cannot die because they are already dead. Both also include situations that might seem ridiculous and over the top but end up being very fun to watch.
