Both series start off with the Main Character losing their memories, forgetting who they are and make it their main objective to discover their identity. The main characters of both works are also accused of a major crime by everyone, (terrorism in Eden of the East and murder in K). Both series also have a female lead who believes that the main character is not the criminal that everyone is lead to believe and a slight romance is there. Both series also have lots of twists throughout the story.

Both anime are a battle royal where everyone is trying to survive and progress,
In K it's trying to promote your king so that he gains the power of all the kings.
In Higashi no Eden people with phones are hunting other people with phones in order to "Make their country a better place".

K or "Kings" and Eden have the similarities of both of the MC are involved in a large incident that they are seen as responsible for, but due to memory loss cant remember their involvement or anything about themselves. Also both anime have people or groups of people in a sort power struggle.
