Both have similar styles of dialogue. Dialogue isnt as much of a focal point in pretty boy detective club as it is in the mongatari series but still quite heavy. Characters in both shows explore much deeper meaning behind the dilemmas they deal with in life. Both have a sense of mystery.
Both are originally written by the same author and are made by the same studio. Also both can be enjoyed by the kind of audiences who want less action heavy and more dialogue heavy series.
