Both of the main characters are solving crime cases and makes many mentions to the real world issues. Music is very pleasing in both of the animes- not only openings and endings but the background music as well. If you are a person of culture, books, plot twists ; then this is the anime for you! In Kuroshitsuji season 1, plot does not fully explain main character's background, so does Bungou stray dogs. The structure is quite similar,but both of them are very unique in their own ways!

Detectives, comedy, mystery, complicated characters and relationships, are in both of these animes. If you really love Kuroshitsuji and want to see something similar but also a bit more mature, this is really it. Bungou Stray Dogs is the perfect anime for Black Butler fans because they have enough similarities to be loved by the same people but enough uniqueness to be their own animes with their own incredible identities.
