The main romance plot is very similar between them. They may not share the same main plot (Music and Slice of Life/School) but secondary characteristics may apply. The alternance between comedy and drama is really similar, while the romance feels really heartwarming. There are a lot of similar events at the end of both, talking about them would be spoiling, but who liked one will probably like the other.
-Both revolve around romance and the struggles of realizing how one truly feels
-Plenty of similar comedic antics
-Each has a few characters much likes ones from the other
-Personal discovery and growth is a huge theme in both series
~Both are romances dealing with teenagers in school
~both are pretty good at foreshadowing, symbolism
if you love slice of life and romance you will LOVE these two series be prepared for major feels though, they will both hit you really hard.
