Fighting for equality. BNA and Promare have a similar MC, Lio and Michiru, who wishes for a change in society due to oppression.
In BNA, despite being previously human, Michiru wishes to help the beastman of Anima City in hopes that humans and beastman could get along as different races with mutual respect. Likewise, with Promare, Lio is being oppressed due to him existing as a burnish which calls for him to fight against the human oppressors, though Lio gives off more extreme methods for the burnishes prosperity.

Promare (movie) and BNA (series) are both original productions by Studio Trigger, featuring their unique art style and character design, as well as superb soundtracks (although the people behind the soundtracks aren't the same).
Both stories portray social discrimination - in BNA it's about humans and "Beastmen" (people who can swap between a human and an animal-like form) opposing each other, in Promare it's about humans and "Burnish" (people who gained fire abilities after random mutation) opposing each other.
The main characters in both plots (Michiru from BNA / Galo and Lio from Promare) also both fight for equality, justice and acceptance.

Another relatively new trigger title that features amazing animation, engaging sound design, and a lovable cast. BNA also shares many themes with Promare and also Kill la Kill including class separation, racism, feminism, and self-searching.
they have pretty much the same plot just slightly different. mc (michiru and galo) spend the duration of the show/movie understanding a marginalized group better from an outsiders perspective, and a member of the community they meet along the way (shirou and lio) are trying to protect their oppressed people from heavy handed opposition and an un accepting society.
