Koi wa Ameagari no You ni, Koi to Yobu ni wa Kimochi Warui Recommendations
Joshikousei and adult man. Both theme are pretty clear and similar. The love with a younger girl.
Both stories have a similar premise except it's the complete opposite where the teenager is crushing on the adult. However, After the Rain is more focused on character growth than romance. Not to mention Akira and Kondo are well-written characters.
If you do enjoy Koi to Yobu or not, then give After the Rain a chance.
Similarities: Both main male protagonists are adults
Both female protagonists are both charming
Both females are in Highschool.
Differences: are after the rain male Mc is a 45 year old
45 year old has a son
Main girl doesn't live with the Mc
Main girl is more mature.
Contains a romantic premise of a person hopelessly pursuing their loves towards a person who is much younger/older than them. Although the said premise is romantic, none about these two series feels erotic nor sensual as it mainly focuses on dramatic aspects (After the Rain) and comedic concepts (KoiKimo).
Both series handle their controversial and similar premises with taste. Rest assured that despite their cringy beginnings, their plots get increasingly better and as far from vulgar as you could hope. The pay-off is character development and wholesomeness for both shows.
That said, if you want a fun rom-com with cute artstyle, go for Koikimo. If you want a more serious drama with stunning art, go for After the Rain.
what make it look similar is .... love between teenager and someone older than her BUT it wasn't about pedophile...Is just you know they both enjoy the loves
