SukaSuka is like Plastic Memories if you fleshed out the world and made it stand on its own, setting it apart from the romance plot. Plastic Memories is like SukaSuka because it focuses on a girl who does not have much time left to be with the one she loves. One is high fantasy, the other is sci-fi. Both are tearjerkers.

Ok did you like Plastic Memories ? Great for you, I surely didn't. I dropped it pretty quickly because I got pissed off at the fact that the plot was full of holes just to conveniently try to jam sadness in my heart (that didn't work obviously), and it felt horribly artificial (pardon the pun while talking about robots). However my point is, although Sukasuka doesn't have the same setting at all, the challenges put in front of the main character are pretty much the same. Except he isn't just a walking and talking dildo here just to satisfy the female cast like a VN protagonist.   read more

tearjerker sci-fi romances with similar main characters and messed up worlds. both involve a man working with an artificial woman.

- Both have a seemingly calm setup, but is seemingly headed towards a sad ending for the main characters. - Main male character enters a new job and meets the main female character. - Somewhat similar style of romance between the main male and female characters. - The theme of memory loss is present in both series, but is approached in different ways, both unique to their own story.

Both anime are considered romances on the tragic side, SukaSuka has more of a fantasy setting while Plastic Memories is more sci-fi. The male protagonists in both find jobs where they become involved in relationships with the main female characters of each series, both of which only have a limited amount of time left to live.

Both series are Drama's with romance. They're very character and emotion driven experiences. It really makes you think and consider the character's perspective and what they're going through with their situation. I opened my heart to both series.

SukaSuka and Plastic Memories strongly resemble each other, for the type of love story, for the sense of near end that dominate the concerns of the characters, and for the main girl being similar kind of cuteness. Sukasuka is fantasy genre, while Plastic is more like sci-fi, but it is background, being the characteristics above are more prominent in both stories.

- Both story lines are quite look a like - Both main female characters have a lot of common in personality, its like the same person but with different colour of hair - Both are tearjerkers - If you liked one of these, you would sure like the other one. the only difference between the two is that Plastic Memories has SciFi themed and more Slice of Life while SNSK is fantasy themed and more action packed
