The heroes of these animations based on games have a similar goal to save the world. Each main lead has his unique girl sidekick that remains with the lead but has to charm other characters to join the quest. The heroism of the male leads, Hero and Al, is remarkably the same even though Hero exudes more maturity since he is older. Al does grow into his role to be like Hero, by learning responsibility.
