Great Teacher Onizuka, Hanada Shounen-shi Recommendations
The main protagonists are charismatic, funny, blunt, and troublemakers that makes it seems that Onizuka could be the grown-up version of Ichiro. They both go to great lengths to aid people. For Ichiro, it’s done through coercion (he’s forced to help ghosts find their peace), whereas for Onizuka it’s a sense of responsibility (he’s moved to teach life lessons to his students). Despite of these differences, they become invested in the experience and genuinely care about the outcome. Both shows have similar type of humor.
