Nagi no Asu kara

True Tears and Nagi no Asukara both take place in a setting that gives off a similar vibe. They consist a small cast of characters in a local setting where drama, comedy, and romance develop over time.
The main female protagonist from both series is a bit odd although although their personalities contrast with another from its perspective series. There is a love triangle that is built up and present.
P.A. Works is involved in both series for its production. The quality of the production also shares a similar feeling.
Similar coastal town settings and romantic drama. Nagi no Asukara has more intertwining relationships with more than one male character while True Tears is more about one guy's relationship with several girls.

If you love something called love triangle maybe this anime can give you that, even more.. like pentagon love(?). Like Nagi no Asukara, True Tears contains romance elements in its story line, and love rivalry. The boys are being chased by many female characters. I don't wanna tell all the story, could spoiling the story :P.
But, here is the relationship formula : (A & Z s male, others are female)
A loves B but A loves C, C loves A but B is her friend, D loves A but Z loves D.

Both involve complicated love relationships between various members of the main cast. While Nagi deals with a more all round love web, True Tears is more veered towards a single character.
