Darker than Black: Kuro no Keiyakusha, Toaru Kagaku no Railgun Recommendations
Mystery/action shows about super-powered individuals. Both protagonists have electric powers.
DTB's contractors are like the Railgun's espers. Railgun seems to be a moe/girly version of DTB. The main character has the electricity power, and use it to stop the criminal activities of the other persons with special powers. Each special person has only one power.
Lets just say that both of these shows have "electrifying" scenes that will leave you "shocked".
While the tone of the two shows is different overall, there are quite a few similarities that made me think of one while watching the other, including but no limited to:
-information from arcs that tie into future ones
-many people with different powers
Many similarities. Electric powered MC. The protagonist team had four members, with one of the member act as an observer. The main story is divided by many arcs, which every arc is connected. Also have good actions.
If super power is a theme you're looking for, then Darker than Black and Railgun should be considered to be added on PTW for a variety of reasons. First, there is the concept of people who are able to use supernatural abilities. Among these includes a main protagonist with the ability to manipulate electricity. Then, there's the concept of them fighting crime in a city where there are other dangerous people with abilities as well. Thus, expect action and drama to ensure.
The main protagonist in both series contrasts a bit in personalities though but they do what they can to help people with their friends/comrades.
Both Darker than Black and Toaru Kagaku no Railgun includes people with special abilities (supernatural powers). Darker than Black is more serious and it explores more of the dark sides of those people with supernatural powers.
City with superpowered humans. Railgun tends to be more lighthearted but is more character focused(something that DTB somewhat lacks).
Break all distress and jail-like cage. Hope don't miss your hearts. Just do it.
This shows value theme than Action. It's the existence of their important people. Both main characters cherish life.
I think superpowers don't only defeat evil. Save someone, Take care of someone. Reading the human mind is easy.
Let's back to other points. Both have organizations to confront threats. Misaka's faith is similar to Hei. They don't abuse their power.
Although depends on people, not to mention both shows are wonderful. Railgun is not original, but you'll enjoy it if you loved DTB theme.
Both got similaraties about having power and solving problems.
Toaru Kagaku no Railgun is about people having esper power while Darker than Black is about people having different kind of supernatural abilities.
