Digimon Xros wars and gurren laggan are similar in many ways... the protagonist shoutmon and kamina share similar ways of life, even in some animation points they share styles... in some points the only think left to say in digimon is "this is the drill that will pierce thru the sky!" but there is a drill so dont worry the time will come xD I thinks Digimon Xros Wars was molded with Gurren Laggan in mind of course gurren lagann is in thousand ways more deep and 100 times better in animation... so if you like digimon XW you will love Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann...
