Whether it's a classroom full of school girl assassins or a city full of bloodthirsty murderers, both are murder games which revolve around killing a seemingly helpless girl in order to be granted a wish. Both deal of a group who want to kill a girl so they can get any wish. This girl will be defended by the protagonist, because of his attraction to her.

Well both series have a little same plot I.E. one target , one protector and many killers. So both series shows survival of the target and how the protector will protect.

Both of these anime are centered around a killing game. The artstyle isn't too similar, but I think the colors used throughout each anime do look close. Not only that, but the characters in Akuma no Riddle are nearly all trained killers. In a way, this also holds true for Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge. And, to top it all of, both of the main characters are there to protect someone. These someones are being targeted for some sort of prize, and are both in a sort of relationship with their protector.
