Hataraku Maou-sama! and Yuusha ni Narenakatta Ore wa Shibushibu Shuushoku wo Ketsui Shimashita (Yuushibu for short) not only have similar starting settings but also have the same comical scenario: Comedy at the workplace. By making the demons work in a regular store (McRonalds in Hataraku Maou-sama and Lawson's in Yuushibu) and assimilating to the workplace, both shows create hilarious comedy. In Maoyuu's case, from adapting too well to climbing the corporate ladder and penny pinching and in Fino's case, from lacking common sense and etiquette and scaring customers.

Both involves supposes legendary warriors and a head demon, who found themselves washed-off and working part-time jobs. Dissimilarities: One has an extra ecchi genre, whiled the other has action as its extra genre.
Demon King gets Kicked, and the plot's centred about protagonist working at a store. Be it selling papasonic stuff, or selling MgRonald burgers
Both plots have a similar premise where the Demon comes to the human world and tries to live
as a human. And the Hero who is supposed to the demons enemy ends up supporting and becoming
friends with the demon.
Both the anime entertains you with how the demon goes about learning how to do stuff the human way.
And they also try to earn a living to survive in the human world.
All in all both anime gives us good comedy to laugh with a little tint of romance.

Let's Put it simple.... Both involve Heroes and Demons working at a Part time job... :) although there is a slight difference.. Just watch it to fing out..btw Yuushibu is still ongoing...
Similarity in both of these series, involves a main character working in a friendly work environment, as their previous task were left a drag. One particular character is a demon character, but despite being a scary one, they are basically friendly, sometimes naive, and a funny one where they interact with customers in somewhat a comical way. Also they used magic if they used it for emergencies only or fighting.
Hataraku Maou-sama! follows a demon main character who was transported in the human world, and works as a part timer. Yuushibu follows a hero character, who trains a demon daughter working at a store.
In both series, demons somehow end up in the human world and they get a job. In Hataraku Maou-sama!, it's the demon lord, while in Yuushibu, it's the daughter of the demon lord.
In both series, there are heroes who also get a job in the human world. In Hataraku Maou-sama!, there's Emilia who comes to the human world looking for the dark lord. In Yuushibu, there's Raul and his friend Airi who end up getting a job because they couldn't become heroes.

What if the Demon Lord and the Hero found themselves in a world where there was no point in either existence? Well that's exactly what you can expect from both.In the normal daily life of the Demon Lord and the Hero you can expect humor, misunderstandings, and misinterpretations. Perhaps even a realization that conquering and conflict are not all there is to life.

Both series are comedies about a Demon Lord and Hero that take normal jobs.
Yuusha is ecchi and both characters take normal jobs in their world since there is no more Demon Lord.
In Maou-sama the characters flee their world and find a job in the human world.

Hataraku Maou-sama tells that a demon lord was working at a restaurant because he was out of money to spend his life.. Then, a hero came too, working. But, in Yuushibu, a hero was working at a electrical store, and a future-demon lord came in a same place with hero, working too.. The storyline almost similar between these two anime series.. But, the character was flipped.. In Hataraku Maou-sama, the hero was a female and the demon was a male, but in Yuushibu, the hero was a male and the demon was a female... These character was hardworking in their works..
In both a demon and a hero - at first suspicious of one another - get acquainted, while working at human part-time jobs. Both main characters have been forced into this situation, although through different circumstances. Both main characters have a cute co-worker, a potential love interest that is their polar opposite and a quieter character that may be more than she seems. Both series have magical powers in them.
The differences are mainly that the main character lacks real motivation, inhabitants of different worlds work together and not against each other, Yu-sibu contains more harem-like premise and there are no parallel worlds.

Both revolve around a hero and a demon lord taking up a regular life of work in the world after their original lives came to an end.
Both of the male main characters act like their job is their priority when they try to save one of their fellow employees.
Both have fight scenes with the main characters using their original powers just like old times sake.

Pretty much doppelgangers.
Basically same thing:
Watch Yuusha first if you like fanservice
Watch Hataraku(Devil) if you like action/battle scenes
In both of these series the main protagonist exudes incredible strength, but is forced to harbor in that strength as they work in very boring customer service jobs. One works at a fast food place, the other works at an appliance store.

Both shows feature a devilish character working in a store environment. Both, imo, have some great writing. Be forewarned Yuushibu is not exactly suitable for younger audiences.
