Their main protagonist are forced into an unfamiliar world and are forced to adapt, in order to one day lead their respective people. Terra e... is more of a sci-fi series, whist Juuni Kokuki is a historical fantasy.
When a hero is forced to face his or her destiny, there are two outcomes: accept it enthusiastically or fight it but eventually come to accept it either way.
Saving the world is hard enough task, but what if you are forced against your will to become the leader of thousands of people, (not few but a whole race/nation) whose fates rest in your hands?
Heros? Bah! Easy compared to this. Politics, war, decisions: you're responsible for the whole baggage.
You're just a normal person who want to be left alone. Not a genius, not courageous, not experienced, and really, who gives a damn about these people?
