Psychological horror anime (well, Corpse Party makes DR look extremely tame in comparison) that feature a group of students trapped in a mysterious school and no way out. They have to work together (and sometimes go against each other) as they try to cope with being trapped. As I mentioned before though, DR has hardly any gore while CP is gore galore.
Both of these anime are pretty creepy and deal with the plot either your going to kill someone or you will be killed. They both have the school atmosphere, and in both animes you cant leave the school. They also both deal with solving mysteries. Though they both share a qusition, who is the mastermind behind all of this?
Both have group of students trapped inside a school, trying to get away which mostly results in getting killed. Both are bloody, but Corpse Party is a lot more extreme. Both have sadistic masterminds.
Both involve: students trapped in school, supernatural, both are psichological animes. However, Danganronpa is not gore, just a few scenes with blood (compared to Corpse Party)
Both include the characters being locked inside of a high school with no escape, and both include heaps of deaths throughout the whole thing. Corpse Party is far more bloody and gorey, but they're both pretty similar. Both have an evil mastermind that made it all happen in the first place.
Corpse Party and Danganronpa are very similar in the fact that they are both adaptations from a game. Both anime's characters are trapped in a school where they try to find a way to make it out alive.
A group of students enter an abandoned high school. They have to solve a mystery to exit it alive.
If you like a good body count or just a fun mystery i recommend both
I think that “Corpse Party” and “Danganronpa” are similar because, to say the least without spoiling anything, they’re both related to people being put into some sort of death game. “Corpse Party” is considered a little darker and gorey, but if someone enjoys “Corpse Party” it’s VERY likely that they’ll enjoy “Danganronpa” because they’re both very similar. But, I personally believe that someone who enjoyed “Danganronpa” might not necessarily enjoy “Corpse Party” because of the gorey nature, and the character development isn’t the best in the anime.
Both are based around notable horror visual novels with the characters going through alot of messed up deaths.
