Fullmetal Alchemist, Death Note Recommendations
Believe it or not ... It is a bit like Death Note. I feel like some of the themes are the same. "Every one loses" is one of them. It feels ... gritty ... but clean at the same time. And I feel that the elements tie together into one big great anime.
Both animes contributes the art of great thinking. Watching these series you'll have to think, at the same time as you get captured by the emotions and happenings in play.
Two remarkable series that should be in many peoples top 10 list.
Both series center around the concept of whether the ends justify the means. For Light (Death Note), does making a better world justify his use of the Death Note? For Ed and Al (Fullmetal Alchemist), alchemists who have lost all or part of their bodies to failed transmutations, does the quest to get their original bodies back justify the use of the Philosopher's Stone?
