Both of these fantasy titles have a strong romance element that is present.
The obvious comparisons is that Shirayuki-hime is set in a fantasy kingdom, with a female lead who seems to catch every male's attention. She is a nice, caring and compassianate human being who doesn't want to call men "Dogs" and mistreat them at any given second. Of course, she is a poor person, so maybe if she was an aristocrat she would be different?
