Music is very similar with the techno, rock and symphony parts. The settings also pit a superior enemy against the underdog main characters set in the future with mechs. Both series feature cute girl protagonists, mech battles and awesome action & animation, with moving techno-symphony music and chorus.

The music is composed by the same person. Also, both animes also focus on rebuilding humanity to be a better place. Also, a lot of wars take place in both of them.

The two shows have many similarities making them somehow easy to compare. Throughout wathcing both shows you get this same feeling. Both animes are recognizable by their mecha factor, and the graphics in both are splendid. In Guilty Crown you have this boy Shu who somehow gets mixed a crazy situation. He recives the power of the god and decides to fight the evil government planing to take over. There is also a female protoganist named Inori who is crucial for their fight. Meanwhile in Aldboah.Zero you have this boy Inaho who's like super smart but seems clueless at first. The war breaks out between   read more

Both animes revolve around a war-torn world. Both animes also contain romance and mecha aspects to them. After watching both of them, there was a very similar vibe that was present between the two animes. Overall if you've finished either aldnoah zero or guilty crown and are looking to find anything similar, i'd highly give either one a shot.
