Joy
The biggest similarity outside of being a BL manga: both have characters who act dismissive towards manga industry at first. In Sekaiichi, MC had to change his editorial job from romance books to shoujo manga. In Joy, important side character keeps shaming MC(a shoujo mangaka) for "not contributing to society in a meaningful way". Both stories eventually develop those characters enough for them to stop dismissing the industry.

Both of them focus on characters going on adventures in a specific part of their world and learning about different monsters in that area. Despite the setting being somewhat different they feel similar in their general structure where while there is a narrative always being followed we see many chapters focused on specific monsters, though in one it is about how a monster can be eaten and another on how they communicate. While Dungeon Meshi focuses on an underground dungeon for its setting, Heterogenia Linguistic focuses on a specific continent, both being home to unique monsters.

Shingeki no Kyojin
Attack on Titan and Naruto have a very detailed and expanding worldbuilding and storytelling that has both similarities and also differences while overall being on the same page. Such as that the two protagonists have a hidden power within them, where at the beginning it is considered hostile by their friends and allies, and this puts them in contrast to the world, while later they use it to their advantage and accept them for what they are, however eventually the narrative changes into Eren having to go against everyone to save his friends while Naruto embraces everyone to do the same, in general Attack on Titan is the higher quality series while Naruto is a larger exploration of that similar narrative.

You might've already noticed that both are seinen rom-com manga about working adults. While TY doesn't involve all-out otaku (Nokoru seems halfway there at best) unlike Wotakoi, there is a common theme of adults with peculiar tastes? There's more emotional (and overall) maturity in TY, so don't expect as many laughs as you would with Wotakoi; TY compensates for this with a short, satisfying and well-paced romance that will have you really rooting for the two throughout!

Both series are all about love triangles. Love triangles are the very premise of the manga, with the main focus being who the main character will choose. Will it be their first love or someone else? I will note that the two have different approaches to the love triangle, with Tiger & Dragon focusing more on the antics of the girl and her two pushy love interests, while FutaKoi is more about discovering feelings and learning about dating through the love triangle. Either way, if you're a love triangle enthusiast, you'll really appreciate both series.

They are by the same author, so they have a similar feeling. They are romance manga, but they both have very strong comedic undertones, and the sense of humor is the same in both, due to having the same mangaka at the helm. While Tiger & Dragon is a love triangle series, it also utilizes the yandere/ obsessive and pushy love interest in the same way Minimaru Kareshi does (albeit with less depth due to having two characters and being a much shorter series). The female lead is very innocent when it comes to love in both series as well. (I think Mizuki Hoshino loves the naive girl x yandere guy pairings). If you like one, you'll probably enjoy the other.

These manga appear to be written as a pair, even if they aren't related to each other in any way, since they have the exact same premise of fairy tale reincarnation isekai, are both two chapters long, and have the same author and artist. Both are about girls who are reincarnated as fairy tale heroines and want to avoid the pain and suffering the original characters endured, as well as finding themselves in romantic encounters with the prince they're supposed to fall in love with. The Snow White story is more of a gentle, romantic, slice of life, while the Little Mermaid one is more comedic.

Both manhwa are dark fantasy survival set in a post apocalyptic world with monsters, with an pleasant development, great plot and a fantastic work of scenery art in Leviathan, while Sweet Home has a notable unique style. Both have very interesting stories and obstacles in their environments, developing a great sense of mortality every chapter. Without any spoiler, here are some informations: Leviathan counts with the idea of a world completely covered in water, surviving while being constantly in fear, not knowing if there is any other humans alive and what is under the water that surrounds you going as far as your eyes can see, being afraid of when the nighttime comes everyday, as you know it's when the sea monsters show up. In the same way, Sweet Home contains the reader’s relatability with the way characters have no clue on what’s going on, being held cramped in their apartments not knowing what’s happening behind every door and constantly being unable to trust the people among them, as soon as they can also turn out to be monsters after all.

this has to be so far the ONLY thing with actual similarity in terms of feel to world trigger. most of the other recommendations are really stretching it. as world trigger is quite unique in this regard. however Sensou Kyoushitsu or "the bungle call" in my opinion is the sore similar manga to world trigger. despite their difference in setting (one in medieval times and one in modern day) they both share a ton of similarities. for starters both protagonists are physically weak and can't really fight, and both of them join some kind of organization that is currently fighting against invaders. both of their systems have these kind of unique powers and abilities with a lot of tactics behind them, and there are barely any individual fights like in normal shounen, all the battles are large in scale with teams fighting other teams using tactics to exploit their weakness. in this sense they are both similar to sports anime if you think about it, except there isn't any of the "friendship" power bullshit. most of the time they use tactics to win, both protagonists use their brain over braun and command over their team to win large scale battles. also eventually after getting attacked for so long their team eventually starts taking the offensive and the newer arc is about them advancing to enemy territory. also like a sports series both of them have interesting characters that often have backstories related to why they are fighting or within the organization etc and the protagonist has to mediate between different characters. nether protagonists are strong or talented instead having to use tactics to win. both manga feel like playing some rts or esports war game, where its like a team sport with the protagonist being like a commander. the start might be very different but eventually they start becoming similar later on. most of the other recommendations only have similar aesthetics but not similar feel or premise

The story follows Sung Jin-woo, a weak hunter who is suddenly granted immense power, and his journey to become the strongest in the world. The art in Solo Leveling is absolutely stunning, with beautifully drawn characters and backgrounds. The action scenes are particularly well-done, with dynamic paneling and choreography that make them a joy to read. Additionally, the story is well-written and engaging, with a great balance of action, drama, and mystery. Overall, Solo Leveling is a fantastic manhwa that is definitely worth checking out if you enjoyed Second Life Ranker.

It's extremely difficult to explain why they're so similar without going into spoilers, but basically both series have major plot twists that make their plots very, very similar, to the point where I think Astra: Lost in Space was probably somewhat inspired by Kaguya-hime. I'd even claim that Astra is the more consistent, shounen version of Kaguya-hime. The two also both have similar themes due to the similar plots, such as identity. If you want a sci-fi mystery turned conspiracy, and are a fan of one of these series and want to see another take on these plot twists, checking the other one out might be worthwhile.

I will say that Takopi is significantly darker and more disturbing than Kurumi, as it deals with very dark topics, as it focuses on depression and the dark side of humanity. Yumi to Kurumi is more lighthearted and focuses on insecurities and finding confidence in yourself. It's very cute and has a romantic plot as well. They're very different takes on a similar premise. These two manga are also beautiful series in both art and content, as our female protagonist learns to stand up for herself and against those who oppose and try to sabotage her.

The premise at the beginning is similar in both stories: - a guy enters a magic school with no magical powers. What's fun in both series is that how they play around it. They have to be clever or really skilled in something else in return. Both are an amusing read.

There are several reasons why I like both of these series: * In both series main characters dynamics work out really well - you keep wanting more interactions between them! * Relatable and well written main and side characters with nice backstories * Both are about relationships between people - what does it mean to be someone's friend; what does caring for someone really mean? * The confidence in both main characters (Yugami and Mitsumi) that inspires others and perhaps even you as a reader. Overall both are really well written slice of life manga.

If you're looking for a shoujo manga featuring a masculine-faced female lead who is frequently referred to as a "prince" by others, both series have something in common. As I write this, Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki has already reached six volumes, while Naisho no Kawaikochan is still a one-shot planned to become a series, so I couldn't make many plot comparisons other than the two having a drama filled with the female lead's concerns about showing her girlish side in front of the male lead.

These delinquent manga are very similar. In both manga there is a tough guy who actually wants to be treated as a little brother type, or at the very least not seen as a delinquent by another male peer. In both manga the characters are not matter-of-factly attracted to the same sex. The romance develops at a slower pace, but still has the carnal scenes that attracts a yaoi audience. In both the more macho of the two main characters happens to take the uke role in the relationship.
