Hi just want to say that what I meant by "Violet is not entirely human" is not that violet is automatron, but what I was trying to say that she is not really your ordinary human, she definitely lacks some "human aspects" shown in the first few episodes. Just want to clear up that point. Thanks
While the initial function of these Auto Memory Dolls is only to generate voices into text, a second group of people created a company that rented out beautiful talented women who, while having the same function as the original Auto Memory Dolls, also can perform military-related tasks.
And Violet is one of latter ones.
I could be wrong but if she weren't a robot she would be a victim of human trafficing
and an underaged female soldier given to another soldier as a weapon.
Sorry, I'm honestly not the best at identifying what class an anime character belongs to even though I have watched more than my fair share of anime. When I say loli I mean a female character that is petite, child-like, etc. The two maids Rem and Ram, Beatrice, the thief girl, russian girl who may win the crown...all lolis in my book. While that may not seem like a lot of characters, keep in mind not many characters are really introduced at all, much less fleshed out. Really, only 5 characters in my opinion were somewhat fleshed out the entire anime, and 3 of them were lolis. Or at least by my definition. I'm sorry, it is just annoying to me when it seems like many female characters are designed to look like 10-14 year olds, especially when they are much older than what their looks would imply. Some anime do an exceptional job at it, but that is only when there is typically 1 or 2 "loli" type characters among a large amount of characters, and those characters are very well fleshed out. Such as in HunterxHunter with the girl trainer in Greed Island. I know it is not anything new, but the recent uptick in loli characters is definitely relatively new if you look at anime in 5 year periods. Either way, my main issue with the characters is that not many of them were well fleshed out. Even the main character I thought wasn't well fleshed out and seemed shoehorned in a way. The most well fleshed out character I will say in the entire anime though was Rem..or was it Ram? AHH either way, the demon maid with blue hair. Most thought out character imo.
And I would argue that of the examples you gave Sword Art Online is definitely the most similar to this Anime. Yet another anime I believe is way over hyped. First 13 episodes were good and then it should have just stopped imo. This whole anime though just felt like it had a decent idea in mind, and then rushed it/couldn't bring it to fruition and that is extremely frustrating. It would be like raising a kid who looks like they could be anything they want to be in life, and then they decide to be lazy instead of trying to go out and accomplish something hard.
