Gundam is one of my few serious obsessions when it comes to anime. I've seen every series, with the original from 1979 being my favorite. 00 was alright, but Unicorn has been awesome so far. Really liking it, but the enormous wait time between each episode is taking it's toll on me.
Well, I have lots of posters on my wall. All of them are movie posters, band posters, but that Evangelion scroll was the first anime related item to be put on my way, but I already plan on getting several others. I free-load with my anime, and I don't support the companies I enjoy as much as I should. I own quite a few DVD collections of my favorite series, but I feel like I could do more.
Sadly, the friend I was suppose to go to Chicago with had something come up, and I don't know if I'll be able to go. ): Our conventions in my city usually get a lots of voice actors, and sometimes bands to come and play. I went to one several years ago, and the band DuelJewel played, which was really nice.
That sounds awesome! I have the Wing Zero Custom, the one from Endless Waltz. It's always been one of my favorite mobile suits, mainly because it was from the series that got me hooked on mech in the first place. (:
I don't enjoy collection the figurines, really. But lately I have been on a mission to start collecting anime posters and scrolls. I just bought a really nice Evangelion one that took a chunk out of my wall.
We do, but I haven't gotten a chance to go to one in several years. I live in a medium size city, so anime conventions only happen a couple of times a year. I do have plans to go north to Chicago and catch one of the bigger ones this summer. I'm very excited for that.
I hope to one day rebuild my Gundam collection. Slowly, but it will grow. I miss those little guys. Exia is a great choice, though. Did you build and paint it yourself?
Agreed. It's pricey to even get them in the first place, but I don't even have a retail store anywhere near my area that'd sell them, so my only choice would be to look online.
Geeze! None of my small amount of memorabilia was all that expensive. Probably the most expensive piece was a Gundam model kit that cost almost 30$..and that's still nothing at all really. But it's nice that you get your use out of them..then let someone else have them.
