Review up to episode 4.

After being trolled on the vast internet, some fans, including me, are enjoying the season so far, some. When I watched the first episode, I thought that it'd wholly be about the new characters Claude and Alois of the Trancy household, but the brewing storm brought an unusual and an unexpected guest to the doorstep of the Trancy mansion. I was so surprised that I replayed the scene about 3/4 times.

Up to episode 3, people have been theorizing and asking questions about this season's storyline. I really can't wait how this story will grow and further surprise us.

I'm one of those people who has watched the first 'original' anime before I even read the manga. To be honest, the first one had that eerie, hung, and incomplete feeling--like some one said that the first one "didn't sit well with me".

I totally agree to that.

As soon as I finished the first one, I started reading the manga and found myself getting more and more sucked into the world of the Elric brothers. I started comparing the original to the manga.

All I have to say is I'm unbelievably thankful that they decided to re-do it; MORE closely related to the original text not ...

So, this was quite different from the first season where it follows the journey of the young Eurasian girl, Suou, as to following the journey of Hei. It threw me off a bit, because in the first half of the first episode, I didn't see Hei at all. I thought .. what?! I then thought that it'd follow the manga (a remake, like FMA: Brotherhood with a storyline that relates closely to the manga) because shown at first was a girl.

What I liked about this season is that it's a bit more progressive--appropriately paced, compared to the last season where sometimes it's just flat before ...
