question: Why do u rate the other shounen on your list higher than hxh? I know it doesnt have the best evrything but wouldnt u say its a cut above bnha and fairy tail?

Great HxH review. The introduction of Nen was what made me decide to drop the show as I just couldn't see the show getting reasonably better at that point.

I must give credit where credit is due. Even if I liked the Anime it would still be hard to disagree with your review. I have yet to find something that I disagree with.

“It's cool when watching but absolutely retarded when reflecting over it.” I believe this describes HxH perfectly. Although after a while it stopped being cool for me. Now that I think about it Yorknew really was beginning of the end. Troupe was made to be too nice, so that in one point you start cheering for them. I was interested to see more about them, but was unsure what their role is. I thought maybe they will at some point join the main crew in fighting against some overpowered enemy, like it usually happens. I couldn’t really see how they can become some big enemy of the group again. Ants were the chance for joining forces. It would be really idiotic way of continuing but at least I would be entertained.

It is a shame that the show went this way. It could have been pretty good given how vast the world is and how different everyone’s powers can be.

Thank you very much for your great review. I am really glad that I read it. This is because for the first time since I started watching anime I was really annoyed while watching. And I couldn’t understand why this was rated so high. You perfectly pointed out majority of stuff that is wrong with this Anime.

Everything you said about pre-Chimera arcs was true, although I still liked it. With this type of Anime I don’t need everything to make sense and there were a lot of interesting characters. All in all I felt like the great potential was there. Then Chimera arc came and everything was destroyed. My favorite thing you said isn’t in your review but in comment section, it is: “I read a lot of 10/10 reviews for HxH and most describe it as "It's awesome and has amazing writing" without anything specific.” Exactly what I was thinking. When show suddenly decided to become serious all the things you mentioned cannot be overlooked. I don’t see great writing anywhere, but I see a lot of lazy one. Nothing really made sense to me in this arc. I tried to write a post in some forum thread about many things that were bothering me but I am not that skilled writer as you.

At the end even the characters I liked the most became annoying to me. It felt like the writer had no idea how strong he will make his characters to be.

Man... you watched so many Anime... your mean score is a fuc*in 8.12... And HxH is the worst Anime you've watched so far??? Cmon your opinion is (sorry) bullshit! I'm normally not this kind of person, because I accept opinions of other people. But in this case you're totally wrong... A 4? HxH's animation is at least an 8 and this with so many episodes ^^ The soundtracks are well made and the story is at least "quite enjoyable". Nearly every episode has a high repertory of action and emotion. And your review is full of false statements, just sayin... You gave RE:Zero an 10??? And this story is full of gaps and ridiculous things! You gave some OP movies 9 oder higher... One Piece??? ^^ And SAO, too... i also liked it but HxH is completly out of range :'D No hate but I think nobody can understand your opinion...

i dont know man, i didnt read your review because it was too long and im lazy right now, and i do take hxh very seriously but i have very firm reasons for that. try watching it again with a different perspective and mindset, you might change your opinion or something (its k even if u dont i understand people just hate something so much no matter how good or bad it is)

- Why do you drop Anime while giving them a positive score?

- You gave HxH a 4 and yet you gave other shows that had the same issues (like FT or Naruto) a high score, why?
