both of them have very colorful and feature unique art styles. they have surreal fantasy setting, it's quite atmospheric and bright but also dystrophic at time. sasami-san has a weak start but don't let that fool you, the anime only gets better during it's run. also, sasami-san has more serious moments than humanity, but both are mostly comedies.
