This series has been airing since early October all the way until the end of June. That's roughly 8 months and eight months is a long time. If there's one thing this series does poorly, it's consistency. Sometimes the series really picks up and you can't wait to watch the next episode, other times watching paint dry would be more exciting.

Story - 7
This is a really long series so I won't go into much detail about the story as it isn't worth my time to write a summary as there would be too much details and things that would need to be discussed to read more

Let me tell you first off, tokyo movie theaters are not cheap!!! $20 for a ticket are you insane?! I'd better be getting my money's worth if I'm paying that much. Like this movie better change my life.

Next I want to let you know that I've never read the source, or heard of this title before watching this movie. So this review is my impression of the movie watching it blind.

Story - 4
SPOILER ALERT
It actually started off really great in my opinion. The premise of a boy who was raised in the wild is not something entirely new but still very interesting. And it read more

I wasn't really expecting much before watching this movie, mainly because I saw the trailer and I thought it was going to be some sappy love story which I've honestly seen my fair share but I'm really glad I actually watched it.

Story - 9
SPOILER ALERT
The story focuses on Mukaimizu Hinako and how she learns to "find her wave". It's about how people need to keep moving forward and learn to stand on their own even through the hardships. There's a lot of symbolism in the movie between riding a wave and the life of a person. The story also touches on motivation, as Hinako struggles read more

This review contains terms/words which are minor spoilers to the gundam universe. Read at your own volition.

Story - 5
If you've thoroughly enjoyed the first season and think you can jump straight into the second season without knowing anything about the gundam universe then you're wrong. Unlike the first season which had a strong focus on war and its effects on people, the second season relies heavily on the viewer knowing about the Universal Century and important events in it.

The show has many unanswered questions for people unfamiliar with UC such as:
How did they rescue Io?
What is the Battle of A Baoa Qu?
What are Zeon Remnants?
What read more

Preliminary
Story - 6
Expect a lot of filler. Romcoms aren't really known for progressing the main story. In a way I guess you can say the filler is the story. If you don't like it then don't watch.

Art - 5
Art is a step down from the manga, which is to be expected since you can't compare animating several still frames to drawing a few pages, quality drop is to be expected, but it's really evident in this series. It looks and feels generic. Nothing stands out.

Sound - 4
Generic, I feel like I've already heard it before despite never hearing it. It sounds like any other soundtrack read more

The most underrated anime this season, a really enjoyable lighthearted comedy.

I have no idea why this show is actually so low-rated. It's honestly one of the best shows airing right now. I actually feel sad if you miss out on this masterpiece. Which doesn't make sense because this show is all about otaku life and something I thought most anime fans would be able to relate to: figures and merchandise! A real diamond in the rough, this show is better than any of the other trash comedies airing right now. In these times where the anime industry is dominated with isekai plots and shounen giants, read more

It's always difficult to review second seasons because you're never sure if you want to review it for people who've watched the first season or people who are watching it without any prior knowledge.

If you're like me and you always start eating from the food you hate the most, then you'd want to watch season one first. If you're going to eat the whole thing then you might as well start with the least appetising dish and finish with a good taste in your mouth. That being said the first season is by no means unappetising or boring. In fact, watching the first season read more

Everyone always says the main character is awful but usually it's an overexaggeration. They usually have some redeeming qualities, they can't be all that bad. Maybe he's hardworking, he can do a sport, write well or play an instrument. Maybe he's honest, he speaks his mind and supports his friends. Maybe he's just a good person, he might not be the best but he's trying his best to live in this world.

This guy though... THIS GUY! I can't actually believe how annoyed I am at him. I swear if I ever meet a guy like him I'd really punch him in the face! Just thinking read more

So what's it about?

What you always want to know when watching a show. To make a long story short: it's about a prison break. Ok, that was a boring answer. Well, obviously there's more to it or it wouldn't be rated this high, would it?

You could say it's about family... well they're orphans, but we all know that doesn't really matter in the real world. If you live together with someone for the most of your life, it doesn't matter whether you hate them or love them. Everyone has those people who you've been with for so long, that they're more than just friends to read more

Another one of those shows which has a great first episode, however is completely lacking throughout the series in story, character development and to a degree, sound direction. For a show with an arts school setting and singing each episode, you would think that story and sound would be a priority, not for this show though. The biggest disappointment so far I've watched. The first episode was actually really great, and I thought it had potential, sadly the rest of the show just pales in comparison.

I have no idea why they even made this show, when it was so obvious that the animators wanted to read more
