heavy heavy low low are great! I don't listen to that much mathcore, too, but I really like converge, the number twelve looks like you and the early albums of fear before the march of flames. Otherwise I like normal math rock like this town needs guns or owls.

Hi, long time no speak.

Do you like mathcore?

I'm more the yelling or shouting type but i really like black metal vocals and recently i'm getting more into the harsh/high pitched screamo, too.The problem is i don't know what my singing/sreaming voice sounds like because i never really tried and i don't think i can do that at home.Otherwise my neighbourhood thinks i'm completly insane^^Driving alone sounds like a very good idea to practise on a regular basis but unfortunately i don't have a driving license (yet).Maybe i can practise better if i crank up my guitar volume, at least it sounds like music then and not just like a rampage.

I'm not so familiar with female-fronted bands but they're really good indeed.

Thanks for the rec, Damezumari are great!I like emo/screamo which goes more the (post-)hardcore direction but for some reason it's a little harder to find than the twinkle or chaotic stuff.

I never really listened to powerviolence but i like united nations and nails but i think they have stronger grindcore or crust influations.I don't know what pg.99 are but they're pretty good, too.

Is it actually that hard to sing like that?I want to make some music too but i don't want ruin my voice because i don't know what i'm doing.

Hey, i don't know if you have seen my last comment since i was a little late commenting back but do you know some screamo with not so harsh vocals like Hot Cross, the saddest landscape or la dispute?

And what's the difference between powerviolence and emo violence?I don't really get all this genre designations when i'm searching for new music.

The power of failing is one of my favourite emo records and it's sad that they only released two albums.I recently discovered Piebald and i think their album 'when life hands you lemons' is quite similar to mineral.

I mostly know newer emo revival bands because they allways got posted everywhere but i'm allways open for older recommendations because i certainly have a lack of 90s/early 00s emo or screamo.

I like some of those mtv emo bands but i think it isn't just the mislabeling, when i mention emo people mostly think about the youth culture where you cut yourself and have a ridiculous hairstyle. It's just like anime where people think you like porn or little girl cartoons.

Hey, i listened to your other recommendations.I like it but it's really harsh and lo-fi.It's a little hard to get used to it.

Do you like 'normal' emo too?I like Cap'n Jazz, snowing, empire! empire! and some others but i think 'emo' is a bad word to describe all this music. You can't really just say you like emo or post-hardcore and people know what you mean. There are so many different stiles and directions and when you say you like emo people allways think you like pop-punk or metalcore.

I play guitar and piano but i'm not very good so it would take years for me to record something by myself.Currently i'm looking for guitar effects.I want to play bass in a band because it's easier than guitar for me but i't hard to find someone who likes the same music because i live in a little village in germany.

I never heard of those bands, i know only entry level stuff, i will check them out later.

Sorry my comment isn't on time either, i often forget to check my profile.

Comadre are good, i really like those yelling vocals.

I just saw your bandcamp would love to hear more from you.Do you play an instrument?

Happy birthday and thanks for accepting!

I want to get more into melodic hardcore, can you suggest some good bands?I already like toche amore and hot water music.
