Of course, that’s fine! I respect that you enjoy the aesthetics of this movie and see why you would do so. I guess it’s the fact that not everyone can have a perspective on these aspects the same way you and a lot of other people who enjoyed the movie do (and probably for some other reasons, maybe they just didn’t like it) I’m not saying I completely hated the movie, but imo I just didn’t feel satisfied. And after that ending I definitely need a 4th movie xD Madoka Gaiden is giving me hope!

Yeah I need to change that as well one day lol. I just can’t keep anime I enjoy but stopped watching for whatever the reason on dropped... It may be weird but I’ll try completing all of them one day.

Hello! I’m sorry this reply took a little while to be done (je voix que vous parlez français! Joyeux Noël ^_^)

My scores are a bit outdated because it’s been years that I watched some of the anime on my list, including the 3rd Madoka movie (I watched it in 2015 I think). I don’t really remember what happened in this movie, but I know that I didn’t like the ending. I know I felt some kind of emptiness and that it could have been more, but I can’t really judge because it’s been such a while. I’ll need to rewatch it to give you some more specific parts, that is assuming my score wouldn’t change. But hey, maybe if I watch it soon my thoughts will shift completely and I’ll end up really liking the movie ^_^ I hope this was at least a little helpful!

About that AMV, I thought it fits Homura too and since I was the one who was making it, well, it is the way it is. Can't really change it now:)
Ghibli is probably popular everywhere. A lot of people I know started watching anime after watching Spirited Away or Howl's moving castle. Though my favorites are Castle in the Sky and Nausicaa.
I watch different genres, including comedies. Maybe there aren't a lot of them on my list. But if someone recommends me one, I will check it out.
I liked Kaguya-sama. It's just that my rating often depends on whether I would like to rewatch the series in the future. And I don't think that I will rewatch Kaguya-sama anytime soon.
Diana_Sofia Aug 20, 2019 9:43 PM
Maybe you're right. I still haven't decided whether I like the twist or not, but it was nonetheless interesting.
On that note, would you like to watch my AMV dedicated to the Madoka series. It's in French:) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrmmSbE66PA
I watched a few Ghibli movies during my childhood. but wasn't really into anime until I've started learning Japanese. That was when I watched my first anime series "Last Exile". After that I've seen a lot of others.
I watch different genres, but if I were to name the one I am most likely to enjoy, then I'll say - psychological. I've never watched shounen anime that you've mentioned, but I think I would not enjoy them. I avoid action-oriented stories. I like comedies, occasionally watch romance and slice of life.

Well, even if she did take that power from Madoka, it still doesn't explain how it was done. It was never established that someone can take away God's power. Maybe I just don't get it, but this whole twist seemed a bit out of the blue.
How long have you been watching anime? And how did you start?
Diana_Sofia Aug 18, 2019 11:19 AM
The light novel is dedicated to The Promised Neverland. It will probably be my first time reading a light novel. I haven't read a lot of manga too. Wow, that's a great level in German. I am now around B1. I've started learning it a year and a half ago.
I did cosplay only once. And it's hard to call it that, because I only made the dress and didn't take the pictures yet.
I was thinking about reading Shirayuki-hime manga, but was a bit hesitant. I didn't know that author drew it for fun. I like Shirayuki because she's an independent girl, but not a tomboy, like it is popular nowadays in the media. She's not good at fighting, but she has a strong character and is very knowledgeable.
Rewatching series is my middle name. I do it all the time. That's why I learn languages so easily: I look for some movie or series that I like and start rewatching it until I remember every last word.
I'm very confused about the third movie of Madoka. I was hesitant to add Homura to my favorite character list because of it. I really don't know how I feel about it. On one hand I liked it, on another - it didn't really make sense. If she really had so much power, how come we never knew about it?
Diana_Sofia Aug 15, 2019 8:35 AM
I had a level B2 in French two years ago. Haven't been practicing it a lot lately though. I bought a light novel in French, it should come to me next week. So we'll see if I have forgotten everything by now:) I don't think that I have. My grammar was never really good, though. Russian is my native language, because I'm from those regions of Ukraine where it is widely spoken by nearly everyone.
I think Homura is the best character in Madoka Magica. I was even thinking about adding her to my list of favorites, but I'm still hesitating.
Victorique is great. I found her very relatable somehow, though maybe I'm not as smart as she is. But I did cosplay her, even sewed that back dress she wears. It took me ages, but I really enjoyed it. I have watched Gosick a long time ago too.
I don't often take personality tests, but when I'm bored and there's nothing else to do than, why not?
I see you like Akagami no Shirayuki-hime. I rewatched these series a couple of times. This show helps me stay positive. Do you like rewatching anime?

Hi there :)
Thanks for your comment. About the shounen thing, I feel like the usage mainly defines the meaning of this description and even though the word itself just means boy for many people it is directly linked to a genre (action anime with certain criterea)... actually its the first time I heard the term "shounen-nekketsu" since basically everyone uses just shounen. Compared to seinen which isnt as linked to any specific genre but rather just tells you that the anime is going to be either more dark, brutal or maybe involve topics not interesting to younger people, like politics. But even seinen as a description is in my opinion not meaningless since it gives vital information about the overall atmosphere of the show (or at least it can, sometimes it also can be missleading)
anyways, have a nice day as well.
Diana_Sofia Aug 14, 2019 7:40 AM
Hello. You're welcome. It's nothing to be impressed about. All of these languages are somewhat similar. I really love Madoka. Who is your favorite character from the series? Gosick is very good too. Victorique is one of my favorite anime characters.

You're also a INTP, I've heard it's a very uncommon personality type.

Thanks. And have a nice day, you too.

Well, even thought I said Maria-sama ga Miteru is a better show than Strawberry Panic, to this day I still love Strawberry Panic. And like you said, they maybe both yuri but they are not the same show. One is a melo-drama while the other more like a slice of life. I still remember me crying while watching Strawberry Panic, like a little girl LOL

Natsu-iro Kiseki, it was such a surprised show for me at that time because I didn't think it would grow on me that much. I am pretty sure for most people the show was pretty ok just like many other anime that show a bunch of girl living their live. So why it is so special for me?
Here is a list:
-Saki Mizukoshi: a lot of people called her bitch who want attention but from the beginning for me I just didn't feel it that way(can't say more or I will spoil you) and she also voiced by my favourite seiyuu.
-Story/direction/character: everything in this show just clicks together with me both the bad and good. I don't know but it felt like the show was perfectly made for me. Like everything that I expected to see, I got to see it.
-A slice of life: I don't think you need me to say more about this one :D

Hi!

I guess I am one of the 602 people who put Maria-sama ga Miteru as their favourite on MAL. But I doubt the fan base was even that big back in the old day. Let me give you a history of mine about Maria-sama ga Miteru. About 10 years ago when I first started watching anime from internet I was in love with Strawberry Panic, my first yuri anime ever, and then after finished Strawberry Panic people recommend me to watch Maria-sama ga Miteru as for being a better show. And I would go on to check a short MV of it on youtube to see what it was about. To my surprised I did not like what I saw at all and I would just skipped watching Maria-sama ga Miteru. I would just stick to my gun and believe Strawberry Panic is a better show. LOL what a good old day it was. But as time passed and I gained a lot of experience from watching a ton of anime from good, average to bad. I finally realised Strawberry Panic wasn't as great as I thought it was. I don't mean I hate it now I just mean to say that there are better anime out there. After many years passed I finally gave Maria-sama ga Miteru a proper attention of me and bam, the moment I understand what I was seeing I was in love with it. And the rest as you can see now on my page :D

Well, it is not like I don't want to watch Amanchu anime but more like I am the type of person who eat his favourite strawberry last and as real life get so busy I never get the chance to eat that strawberry LOL I hope you get what I mean. I will be surely to watch Amanchu one day it is just not today.

Tu as mis 9 à kanamewo tu peux me dire ce que tu en penses ?
Car je trouve ça assez banal comme court-métrage.
