Oh wtf, that's so bad.
For sure, gl.
Oh yeah, for sure, its finals season. Seriously, don't feel the need to respond to my comments at all. Focus on your finals first. Mine are in 7 days and I've never been this stressed before in my life. My courses decided to schedule all their exams together over the span of 3 days so I have barely any time to practice in between, 4 exams in 3 days. :((
Oh really, haha, idk, i've heard Daenerys is a lot of people's favourite characters. I'm not too familiar with GOT though. I do know some of infamous scenes though.
Yeah no worries, we can pick this convo back up after exams :), when does yours end? My ends on the Dec 15th.
Yeah, I'd also want to get some merch. But no rush, I'm happy with just watching them on trash taste.
Vagabond is definitely on my list after finals.
YEAH LOL, tbf that's what makes the episodes enjoyable for me, they need to these bad takes for the ensuing arguments. Absolute gold.
Oh wow, what ep are you on now for GOT? I haven't watched it.
Also, are you watching any of the seasonals? Spy X family s2 has been kind of a drag. Had to take a break from it.
lololololol, honestly I'm currently in that phase 💀. I'm enjoying the hell out of Black Clover, I think it's because it's my first long running show of this type. It's just something about beating everything with the power of friendship that just leaves me satisfied after finishing an ep. Asta is this beacon of optimism that I've found quite endearing even if his persona gets repetitive at times. Fair, I do think the show is extremely hit or miss so I don't blame you. Even 100 eps in there are episodes where it gets tiring to sit through. There are some great moments though, not that I would recommend sitting through it to get to them.
They actually toured Toronto 😭 in the US tour, but it was sold out by the time I realized. I'd probably just want a picture, I don't really have anything trash taste linked or manga they've mentioned that they could sign. I really want to read vagabond though. I remember Joey (I think) was hyping it up a lot in the manga ep. Definitely sounds interesting. Yeah, I'm sure they'll be featured in other cons sooner or later.
YEAH LOL, Garnt trying to explain his feelings for GOT this ep was hilarous though.
Connor's take was so bad LOL. It's the complete opposite... Yeah Joey always somehow finds the middle ground lmao.
I think snow white with red hair is a non-starter for me LOL, feels a little too fairy-taley and I'm not in the mood for that atm, but I might give it another go later. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll add Kamisama Hajimemashita to my list. It looks very promising and likely something up my alley.
OH YEAH, I remember telling robin and he had no interest :((. I heard the tickets sold out pretty quickly though. No worries, I think they'll go back to UK another time. Seems like they really like touring. Have you thought of what you would like them to sign? I would really like a pick with Garnt though. He's a huge reason why I got into anime.
Xdddddd, fr, all bread tastes the same. 🙄
Facts, I think it depends on the meat to bone ratio. I honestly don't really remember who advocated for what (I guessed), I do remember Joey as always, was on the fence though.
LOL, same as garnt 😭. Yeah same, these long series are so hard to start, It's hard to stay interested across a really long series especially if the arcs don't feel connected enough.
Yeah Fruits Basket is a must watch from me. I think one of the main reasons why I like it so much is because the romance progresses naturally and is pretty well paced. The side characters are also phenomenal, they each have their own unique traits that work well together imo. Another show you might like that I have not yet watched yet is Snow White With Red Hair. I see you have it on hold but I enjoyed Yona of the Dawn and I've heard they are quite similar.
No, rightfully so, I think S1 of Demon Slayer is p bad as well. I really really hate the characters and the story is so tiresome to sit through. I just liked the fighting, but the fights were few and far between. However S2, especially the latter half, was just pure fighting so I was pleasantly surprised.
Nice, I watch Garnt mostly, Connor at times? But his videos require me to actually be watching the screen cause of the IRL nature of his content. Same, crusts are a must, especially stonebaked crusts, they hit different.
I would lean towards boneless for fried chicken. Sometimes they conceal the bone within the batter and leave me so disappointed once I get to the bone section. Makes me believe I have so much more chicken left than I actually do. But Garnt has a point, tearing meat off of the bone does have its merits.
YES, I've been meaning to watch hxh for a while now. I keep seeing references from it that I don't get. I've also been recommended it based on me really liking fmab. Sort of the same long running series where you follow an endearing cast. I've heard the villains of hxh are great so I'm definitely excited for it. It's just a little daunting to start because of the many eps.
For sure, I see you haven't watched fruits basket yet. Fruits basket is my favourite anime thus far. It's very cute but also has its fair share of touching moments. I binged through it all in a week. But other than that I also quite liked the anime 86. It's not romance focused but the 2 mcs are p cute tgt. The story was quite action packed and emotional, particularly season 1. I read a large poriton of the light novel and without spoilers, it does not disappoint in terms of romance.
Oh interesting, I enjoy them in moderation. Also if you haven't watched it, I recommend S2 of demon slayer. I didn't really like season 1 but they really played towards their strengths in S2. It's just pure fighting for 6 eps straight if I rmb correctly, none of that brain numbing story. If you want something to turn your brain off to and just watch for leisure I highly recommend it. It's only 11 eps.
Oh interesting, do you still watch him? I know he stopped posting anime content quite a while ago. Ah classic, I love the figure specials. No hurry, Agreed, Chris is the best. He complements Connor so well, younger brother older brother dynamic. Yeah I'm saving that ep for the next time I have to take a long walk. I love listening to them in the background. Also are you a crust or no crust type of person?
Sort of first? My first anime was actually jojo's. Robin kinda pushed me into it. It's great but it didn't really leave me seeking out any other anime at the time. I'm just very trashy for romance. I would say Sci-fi is definitely one of my favourite genres because it's one of the more unique genres out there. Some of the concepts and ideas are the sole reasons I stay interested in shows. Do you have a favourite genre?
YESSS, haha, he told me ur a fan too!! They're also another reason why I started watching anime haha. Especially Gigguk, he's my favourite. When did you start watching? I started around ep 40-50? But I've slowly caught up on all the previous eps as well. They're great. The recent guest eps were pretty hit or miss though, but Mr. Affable always makes my day.
Yeah, it's actually the anime that got me into anime lolololololol. Or at least got me to seriously start watching anime. The ending was very abrupt to say the least. I don't know if I would enjoy it as much if I watched it again now.
Ngl, It's not bad haha. It's just a back and forth we do. He does the same to me about Darling in the FranXX. The shows just boring imo. Oh really? I thought s4 is people say it starts to get bad, or s3 I don't remember exactly. Either way I just didn't like S1 that much. The op is great though.
For sure, the side characters are also very interesting in their own right. There's not a character who I can say is objectively good which makes the show much more grounded. I'm also coming into this without any prior knowledge and I think the show sets up mystery and intrigue really well. They sort of spoon feed little tip offs of each characters real motives that makes the show stick with me throughout the week. The fight scenes are also insane.
LOL, yeah, I always rip into him for liking MHA.
Sayonara Eri is my only one haha so I'm not too familiar with his work. I've heard Fire force is good as well. I just love how Fujimoto portrays human behavior and emotion in creative settings. Just feels like all the other contemporary shonen have the world-building but create flawless or uninteresting MCs. His stuff just works for me.
Robin said it was mid, I had to have a talk with him :((.
Best of luck, same, reading week can't come any sooner. Mine is early November.
I haven't read the manga but I am a huge fan of the author Tatsuki Fujimoto. I love his manga one shot Saynoara Eri, great read. I'm really enjoying the anime of Chainsaw Man though. I had a rule where I would never rate shows until after I finished watching them. But I'm kinda making an exception for Chainsaw Man because of how excited I am for each episode. I'm actually contemplating on reading the manga because I can't wait for each episode. But I'm just too busy atm for that type of commitment.
Are you watching it?
