(Please note that this is my first review, so it may not be the greatest.)
Story: The story of Howl's Moving Castle is one of the weakest spots of the movie. To me it seemed that things would happen at random and a little too fast. For this I rated an 6.
Art: One of the reasons I love Miyazaki movies is because of the animation. He always does an amazing job. M favorite part of the animation in this movie is how he puts an incredibly large amount of detail in the backgrounds, and in Howl's castle. The way Hayao animates expressions in characters is

very unique.
Easily I rated the animation part as a 10.
Sound: The music in this movie is simply wonderful. Every piece of music fits perfectly with each scene. The voice actors for each character fit perfectly too. Also rated this a 10.
Character: Each character has differnt traits, good and bad. But for me each character was lovable, even the Witch of the Waste. Turnip Head and Calcifer seemed to be funny characters. Sophie was the more caring of all the characters, and Howl was more mysterious.
For characters, rated an 8.
Enjoyment: I have watched this movie many times, always entertained while watching it. Howl's Moving Castle is also one of my favorite Studio Ghibli movies ever.
Overall: The plot might be lacking a little, but everything else definitely makes up for it. From the soundtrack to the animation this movie is simply stunning.
