I honestly don't even remember. I think I was looking for the shortest anime entry or the lowest rated anime entry and then I came across that Kokuhaku one. Rated it a one because there was no effort in it. Then I looked for what else this guy made, and came across Love Bites, which at least had some resemblance of a plot in it. I decided to watch one more of this dude's work and 'shitcom' caught my eye. I don't know much about this guy's work, but I felt that this was the peak of this guy's shitposts. At least shitcom was amusing.
The anime I hate the most is still Nami tho. My god it was so viscerally disgusting I don't know who would think of taking time to animate it. I still feel a little queasy when thinking about it

Instead of rushed, I personally felt as tho they dragged (the unimportant parts of) the show too long. Instead of using their runtime for character development and important events, the anime was filled to the brim with unimportant scenes. Like, I think 3-4 episodes were used just to make fireworks, and it only turned out for the firework to not be Menma's wish. I also disliked the love web; two girls were in love with two guys who were both in love with menma. It made me feel that Menma's death was too convenient. Like now that she's permanently dead at the end, both girls can pursue their love interests without fear of obstacles, which was a bit too convenient. I'm planning to rewatch Anohana as well as re-pick up your lie in April just to understand what people enjoyed about this show

seems like very subjective criticisms to me. Most people (even the haters) still consider anohana to have good art and great soundtrack even if they dislike the story and characters. I'd like to see you give me some examples of shows with "above average" art and great soundtrack then

That uno111 guy was completely crazy. Like, why don't people understand that sadness is an entirely subjective thing, and will vary from person to person? For example, my heartstrings were tugged at Clannad's after story because I had issues with my own family, and the anime dealt with similar feelings nicely. On the other hand, I've never had a friend die, come back to life for no reason, and then die again, so I can't really relate to anohana. One scene that really struck out to me was when the redhead confessed to the guy or smthg and she's like bawling her eyes out, and he just walks away like he's never met her before his life. How can I care for such insensitive characters? And the end when menma was fading away, everyone was crying and screaming as hard as they could and the music was playing so loud it was like the anime was telling me, "OK THIS IS THE PART WHERE YOU MUST START CRYING" for the entirety of the scene. I really have no idea what people see in this anime

Are you seriously going to criticize anohana for its beautifully animated art and great music which are both strong aspects of the show
