oh nooo i'm so sorry i only replied now gomenasai~ 。:゚(。ノД\。)゚・。
really? i didn't know genji made girls pregnant... wow i think he's the major douchebag in japanese literature Σ(▼□▼メ)
geez people having no noses never crossed my mind. geez now that i think about it it's gross!└(>Д< )┘ haha you're so unusual to think like that XD
wow you're pets are so kawaii! ♥ you weren't kidding when you said the turtle was little despite his age. he's really tiny, but so cuuuuuuuute!! (●♡∀♡) the cat has a scary expression though~ ㅇㅅㅇ and Polis doesn't sound that strange, in fact it sounds very greek to me.. what does it mean in your language? i thought tortoises couldn't get inside their shells! your tortoise could? really?
oh i misspelled my dachshund's name; it's Tootsie btw ^^ they're sweet, yes. especially when they greet me everytime i arrive from school. they jump over me and lick me w/ their smelly tongues and everything lol. it takes my stress away d(=^・ω・^=)b
w/c of the boys in Kimi to Boku is your fav btw? :3
and don't apologize! i don't mind. take your time, i won't pressure you haha~ :))
moemilk Apr 24, 2013 7:57 AM
LOL what made you say it's weird? (≧▽≦) i'm curious haha~
and your noses ain't big, they're long and sharp - the standard for beauty in this part of the world [where our noses are flat *cries* 。゚(TヮT)゚。] sorry if i sound so vain hehe. i already accept my nose's look, though i hate it sometimes because it's allergic to a lot of stuff -.-
ooohh i'm a fan of Legolas too! :D and Boromir too cuz i think he's cool heehee~ why Faramir? does your cat have a moustache like he does? X)
i wonder what species your turtle is. does he bite? what's his/her name? i saw little turtles once and when i placed my hand over their bowl they reached to attack my hand(ノ´д`)scary but cute~
our dachshund is called Tootise and the beagle is Sookie (odd names, i know. my dad has the knack for them. he even calls me 'Ding.' i'm like: =.=") i wanted to call them with cuter names but, oh well~ yup, they're so kawaii!!! but they stink haha XD
yeah, if only kimi to boku would make a season 3 that would feature their senior high school years~ i hope aoi shouta sings for it too~ i'll include it in my prayers tonight... ><
moemilk Apr 20, 2013 3:03 AM
nope, i only read chapter 4: yugao. srysyly it was hard to read! i couldn't relate much bc of the archaic language used and the ancient setting was kind of alien to me but nevertheless it was real interesting :)
dark eyes are really common here though~ everyone has them, so we can't really say it's nice~ ( ̄д ̄) you westerners have awesome eyes since you have a variety of colors: blue, green, gray, amber, etc. your hair too: blondes, redheads, brown, etc. (and you have snow!) you guys get all the good stuff (ー_ー; ) lol
really? there's gonna be a sequel for the hobbit? i'm looking forward to it! :D
WOW a 25-yr old turtle? amazing! is he big already? i heard they'd live up to 60 yrs if they don't get eaten. wowowowowowow i want one too~ щ(゜ロ゜щ) i asked my dad for one earlier but he said they're expensive =.=
i have a dachshund and a beagle who's still a puppy. they're so adorable!!! i want a cat too but i'm really allergic to their fur so it's a big no-no for me.. (╯︵╰,)
and yeah the singer's a man! you can check it out here if you like: he's so epic, isn't he? that feminine voice.. (●´□`)♡
moemilk Apr 19, 2013 7:39 AM
we discussed The Tale of Genji by Murasaki Shikibu in our Lit class. i wouldn't dream of volunteering for anything in school but i volunteered to discuss some stuff about it since i was genuinely interested (bc it's Japanese) and there's the plus grade too lol~ ლ(́◉◞౪◟◉‵ლ) it was a success! it was my time to shine and to show off all my accumulated knowledge bwhahahahah <( ̄︶ ̄)>
10 pages? srysly?!? wow that's some serious work there. how's your progress on it? i could help if you want~ :3
you prefer light-colored eyes then? i have dark brown eyes btw hehe (◕ω◕✿) it looks black most of the time though; it only looks brown when light bounces off it~ personally i'm attracted to light-colored eyes, esp. when people with dark complexion have them. it's really attractive to me~ what're the color of your eyes btw?
and YESSS the Hobbit was awesome! [frodo's skin looked really flawless there (●♡∀♡)] i even bought the LOTR books. maybe i'll buy the Hobbit some time this year :3
wow we pretty much have the same dreams! i also wanna jump into a panda's arms and cuddle each other and talk to it etc. like in Shirokuma Cafe omggg~ they're so kawaii~ (♥ó㉨ò)ノ♡ i also love penguins and turtles and basically everything cute! i cuddle my dogs everyday! ♥
oh i will! thanks so much!!! make your dreams come true too! i really hope we'll see each other someday! [preferably in Japan ohyeah ヾ(*⌒ヮ⌒*)ゞ]

p.s.: btw did u know that the one who sang the kimi to boku. 2 ost's is a male? Σ(゜ロ゜;)
moemilk Apr 17, 2013 6:35 AM
no worries. i've been busier lately also so i understand. (i'm even researching about the Heian Period right now for my Literature class X3) AND i'm sorry for being such a brat; thanks for putting up with my attitude~(ノ´д`)
don't be scared! the difficulties you'll face will all be worth it once it's all over. i so envy you~!! (ノ)>∀<(ヾ) ganbare! i'll cheer you on! FAITO!!! ☆ヾ(^∇^)
nyhahaha!! you're so cute! though i'm sure it wouldn't sound so convincing coming from a younger person like me.. of course i wouldn't and couldn't hurt a senpai esp. one that's a million miles away hahahahaha lol~ (*≧▽≦)ノシ))
btw are there a lot like u who take japanology as well in your school?
AMAZING. i wanna go to egypt tooooo... D; my mom said egyptians have really pretty eyes hehe..
and YES i love fantasy-adventure films! like Harry Potter, LOTR, Percy Jackson series, Kane Chronicles, Narnia, etc... i'm a girl who's unsatisfied with reality and escapes to the fictional world lol 。゚(TヮT)゚。
having interests make life worth living. if only other people don't judge others based on them w/o knowing anything about it in the first place... =.=
no, i've never been to Japan yet so you could say it's my life's ultimate dream. if i can't go there i won't die in peace, that i'm sure. i've set that as my goal and i'm dead serious about it that u could say it's the reason why i wake up every morning to attend these stupid summer classes lol XP my brothers think of me as a looney but they'll understand someday X)) of course i wanna live there, and if i could go back to high school and study there i would. HAHA but of course that'd be the height of madness. i wanna go around the world but europe, egypt and most of all JAPAN are my top priorities XD i hope i can make this dream come truuuuee~~ (*≧艸≦) *prays*
moemilk Apr 13, 2013 10:46 AM
Filipinos are said to be really happy people despite the endless crises they are facing, but honestly for me, it's false optimism. we don't complain much but that's because most Filipinos think they're happy and content with the way they are that they don't strive harder to improve their lives and settle only for mediocrity. that's why in my opinion, the country doesn't realize any progress. we're a bunch of pathetic idiots if you ask me *sigh* =.= sorry for being so bitter all of a sudden, i just got carried away lol~ ( ̄^ ̄)
it's really nice that they really support your choice~ so you should really work hard! because i won't forgive you if you won't haha. XD really, not everyone gets the same opportunity as you~ but i'm not regretting my decision to be a sensei. it's kind of a pressure because being a teacher is a really demanding job and you have to be like the role model of everyone and you have to take responsibility for a lot of things and there's no room for mistakes. but when you said i'd be a great sensei... shucks REALLY? (//∇//) haha i really really hope so, man. HAHAHA it'd be great to get along with my students and forget about classes and talk about anime all day long! but i'd get into trouble and get fired lol. i have a child's mentality (everyone treats me like a kid too) so i think i'd click with my students right away [i hope they'd take me seriously (TωT)]..
OOOHH WE'RE SO ALIKE! I LOVE Egypt. it's every archaeologists' dream i think X) and Greece and Italy too. and UK and France. the entire Europe really. and the Aztecs and so on.. finding treasures and aliens/the supernatural and stuff are really my thing and my brothers call me a nerd but i don't care X) you have a really cool uncle! :O most of my uncles are just so-so.. ┐( ̄ヮ ̄;)┌
anyway yeah, you're right. i'll decide what to take up after i finish my educ course. maybe i'd go for masterals or I.S.. hmm~~
i like to hurry up and graduate already! and go to Japan! ヽ(●゚´Д`゚●)ノ゚
moemilk Apr 12, 2013 8:32 AM
yeah. i don't get what the season has to do with the hormones responsible for making people "fall in love" but i find it entertaining at times though :3 (only when it happens to my friends. it's not funny anymore when it happens to me :I)
what made u say people there are gloomy? what do u guys even have to complain about in the first place? compared to my country of poverty and corruption, we can't even hold a candle against u peeps -.-
haha thanks! i'm so flattered teehee~ :)))
WOW SUGOOOIII! YOU'RE SO EPIC WTH JAPANOLOGY? SRYSLY?!? MEGA KAKKOIII w(OoO)w *sparkly eyes* i didn't know that course even exists. omg that. is. so. cool. i can't describe my feelings right now just srysly WOW. m/
you're really lucky~ even if i'm there, i know my parents still wouldn't let me take that course no matter how much i beg them =_=
despite my age (17) i'm actually a sophomore secondary education student, major in english in a university. this june i'm going to be a junior (thank God). i'm gonna be a sensei someday (though i still can't imagine me being one a couple of years from now). i originally wanted to take up archaeology, history, international studies or medicine but i ended up in accountancy and eventually shifted to education. wth am i doing with my life -.-
moemilk Apr 11, 2013 6:13 AM
well yeah, i guess you're right... i would be probably sick of 5 months of total winter too X)
spring~ how nice~ in animes it's usually the time where love blooms or something cliche like that XP does it happen in Lithuania too?
having four seasons are really great huh. plus you get breaks for each season. we only have two - semestral break (1-2 weeks) and summer holidays (about 2 1/2 months) plus some national holidays. we're THAT different. omg you guys are so lucky i wanna fly over there and just stay there you know what i mean ಥ_ಥ
me too. i've never really completed hetalia but i'm pretty much familiar with it. oh you're welcome! :D thanks as well for saying the Filipinos you met are nice. i hope you find me nice too fufu~
oh so you go to a university, what's your course or major? :3
moemilk Apr 10, 2013 5:22 AM
hoho don't worry about it! (*゜▽゜*)v
OMG SNOOOOOOOW~~ ♥♥ if only i could experience that. you should be really thankful you know! snow is everybody's fairy tale here in the Philippines. it's our race's dream ever since the beginning of time *sobs* PHILIPPINES Y U NOT SNOW щ(ಥДಥщ) it's not fair. it's way too damn hot here. everyone stinks of sweat ಠ_ಠ (lol) snow is great! i wish i could go there and taste it (i wonder how it tastes teehee~)
haha pity. they should really watch, or at least be familiar with Hetalia. it's a really fun way to learn geography and history and i for one learned a lot from it. your country is awesome, being in Hetalia and all... i hope Phil would someday be part of that anime *prays*
anyway, do you have school around this time?
moemilk Apr 8, 2013 4:38 AM
HAHAHA i know that feel! if given the chance, i would add 100+ favorite characters and animes list~ X3 i'm pretty exhausted right now though. it's the first day of summer classes and the combination of the two of my most hated things - school and hot weather - is enough to drive me nuts. anyway, i'm from the Philippines. if you haven't heard of it (it's not exactly a popular country TvT) it's somewhere in Asia. at least your country is featured in Hetalia~~~
mroia Sep 2, 2011 4:59 AM
Hi there!
how was your first schoolday? Happy to return to studies? As for me - this is my last year at university so I feel kind of nostalgic & definitely happy to come back :)
mroia Aug 16, 2011 12:45 AM
About the festival. Wow! I envy you a little))) suppose it was really great! There’s not so many rock festivals in Belarus and it’s impossible to see famous bands (I mean impossible for me – the tickets would be too expensive). As for our Belarussian rock-bands they were literally banned because they are too close to opposition (that’s what our government claims). In reality they just sing songs about freedom, true democracy and different acute problems of our society.

Books. That’s fine that you write a lot about books – I like to read comments on smth :) I haven’t heard about Vincas Mykolaitis Putinas before so it was interesting for me to look for the info about this author in the Net. It feels a bit strange – a person can be so famous in his country and even considered a “world-known” but almost nobody knows about him when you cross the border. Same with our authors. Btw, can you suggest me an interesting book by Lithuanian author to read? (the only problem – it has to be translated at least into English, better – into Russian) I always wanted to read smth by “Baltic” authors))
As for “complicated books” – the more you read them, the easier to understand them later. At the university we often read different original works (in Russian or English translations but without adaptation). At first I suffered ‘cause it was very difficult to understand what those researchers were writing about and now I got used to it)) I like to read some particular pieces of research and I feel kinda proud that I’m able to understand everything :)

>> You made it by yourself??
Oh yeah  Actually I made to cats – I gave one as a present for a friend. But I also made Black Mokona)) I’m not able to make people so I make different mascots – my shelf would be full of them soon.

Music. Well, is worth attention ‘cause when you register there the site offer you good bands. It’s much easier to search for the music – you choose your favorite band and look which bands are similar (there are different levels of similarity). I found lots of great artists that way. As for the music that I mostly listen to different kinds of rock music (indie-, folk-, punk-, post- and so on). But I also like classical music, country, funk… It’s difficult to name the genres)) What about you?
mroia Aug 9, 2011 4:22 AM
How was the festival? It was your local fest or there were some famous bands?

I also had great weekend =) A friend of mine came from USA for 2 weeks (he left only yesterday), so on Saturday we went on excursion across famous Belarussian castles. It was thematic tour – connected with the history of the Great Duchy of Lithuania. I love that period of our history ‘cause it was the Golden age for our lands. I know that history differs a lot in different countries because of their policy and ideology so just of curiosity – what do you study at school about that period (13-16 centuries, before Rech Pospolita was created)?

Books. I don’t have some specific preferences while choosing a book – genres can vary a lot. But I read sci-fi, contemporary prose, classics and scientific books more than others. At the University I study at “humanitarian” department so we’ve read lots of different interesting articles on psychology, culture studies & esthetics. I have a habit to read 2-3 books at once: one to “sharpen” your brain, & a couple - to relax. So now I’m reading “Madness and Civilization” by Michel Foucault, “We are to live here” by very famous Ukrainian authors H.L. Oldie (it’s their nickname) & rereading “The Shadow of the Wind” by Carlos Ruiz Zafón. As for the last book – try it if you’ll have an opportunity – it’s a great mystery detective novel about a book its author. The book is easy to read and it takes your close attention from the first to the last pages. I’ve read only "Memoirs of a Geisha" long ago – when it was first published in Russian. Can’t say that I was very impressed – it wasn’t bad though. Probably I was too young to understand.

Hobbies. I do a bit of everything: I like to do glass painting, scrapbooking & postcrossing, sculpting
And I also like listening to the music (btw, do you have account?), reading, watching movies or spending time with friends =)
mroia Aug 4, 2011 6:33 AM
Wow! It’s great that you can watch anime on TV – we have only a couple of channels with American cartoons (actually I don’t mind watching ANY kind of animation, yet I’m against such discrimination of anime! >_<). And “Wow!” again – your dad watches anime?! My parents still believe that‘s just children cartoons & I’m too old to spend my time on it. I know otaku-guys who are much older than I am - parents just say those people are too immature =)
Well… As for me I started to watch anime in the 9th form at school. And before that I‘ve seen Sailor Moon, Voltron, Miyazaki movies, Pokemon, Wedding Peach but just as veeery long cartoons. I believe that all generations that grew up in 1990-s watched anime – more or less consciously. At first there was a problem for me to find smth to watch – almost impossible for me. But when I entered the University and found other anime-fans it all started.

Haruki Murakami & literature. I love Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World, A Wild Sheep Chase & South of the Border, West of the Sun =) I also has read his Norwegian Forest, Sputnik Sweetheart, After Dark but wasn’t that impressed. As for Akutagawa and Misima, they are, as I’ve mentioned, “very Japanese” writers. Interesting thing that they both committed suicide – since in Japan it’s not considered as mortal sin yet death can become the final & greatest artwork that a person can create (like seppuku ritual). So as the way of life in Japan, culture differs so much so does literature. Misima is called “the Singer of Death” ‘cause he described death as art (kind of) – you should read any of his stories (not novel) at first. Akutagawa is also very special but less drastic. Try reading his The Spider's Thread, Fool's Life, Hell Screen, Rashōmon (2 of his stories were combined and animated in tha last ark of Aoi Bungaku series). If you’re interested – just surf the Net – I’m sure there’s lot’s of translations into English (probably Lithuanian too). What else do you like to read? Which genres, authors? Which are your favourites? What’re your other hobbies except of reading, anime & Japanese?
