I wanna be brief: this is a hidden gem that everyone who prefers portrayals of adults relationships in manga over typical high school rom-com. The story is about a couple who's been together for over 10 years and it's told in an unusual but very satisfactory way: one chapter may be about their feelings toward getting a pet, so the first half of the chapter shows us what one of them thinks about it and how he/she handles it and in the second half we get to know the feelings of the other.

Overall the art style is solid, nothing to write home about but it ... gets the job done, the topics it presents are very well handled and the dynamic between our main couple is what sold me to start this one.

Just in case I wasn't clear: READ IT!

Like the manga itself, I'll keep my review short. I didn't have a lot of faith in this manga and by the second chapter I thought of dropping it (just because it seemed like the characters and the story weren't connected) thank god I chose not to.

The third story, the one about the girl who couldn't get pregnant, made me emotional. The whole plot wraps surprisingly good.

I recommend all of you reading this to give this manga a try, it won't take you more than an hour or two to finish it and I think it's worth it.

PD: my only complaint is the existence of ... the "peeping tom" character, he wasn't relevant to the plot, he was there only to gross you out.

TLTR; it's the worst Yuasa's work without any doubt.

Oh man... I remember how much I was waiting for this anime to finally air, Yuasa's last work as a member of Science Saru, how can we not be hyped? It took 2 episodes to let that hype...sink (sorry).

-First of all, what the hell? Seriously, this was supposed to convey any sort of emotion? It looked like a "Final Destination" rip-off where chaos after chaos occurred and NONE of the characters gave a shit about, SPOILER ALERT! My dad died? let's keep walking! One of the girls almost got raped? No problem! If the characters themselves ... don't seem to care, why should we?

- I couldn't stop laughing my ass off when that mini arc about the religious sect, how many topics do you wanna cover? it was so dreadful and had literally 0 impact in the rest of the series, what was even the point?. Oh, and they inserted a 15 seconds sex scene and people smoking joints to "make it more mature" o justify the +16 on Netflix.

- I won't extend this much more, it's easy to say that art-wise this was very bland for Science Saru/Yuasa's standards and the OST was forgettable at best.

WAIT, almost forgot, THE GODDAMN ENGRISH, the lil boy speaking english mid-sentence was stupid, unnecesary and it hurt my eardrums.

That's it.

Oh boy, it wasn't short enough.

I won't even spend more than 5 minutes to write a review, this manga doesn't deserve that amount of time. To sum up: the characters were meeeeeh, the art was one of the worst i've ever seen, the plot itself didn't make any sense (you could think that the autor thought each chapter individually without any prior script), the ending was as bad as the beginning, etc etc.

Why didn't i give it a 1/10? Because it was 18 chapters long so ... I could actually finish reading it before dying of disgust.

My recommendations? if you're looking for a good mystery seinen, avoid this at all costs.
