Heya, I'm Fey. Thank you for stumbling upon my profile. I'm an aspiring writer and translator from Israel currently learning Japanese.
I like anime and manga just like everyone else on this site and my favorite genres are usually psychological thrillers, mystery and Sci-Fi. Although Shounen/Seinen adventures are also pretty good. My niche is a good amalgamation of dark/emotional and lighthearted storytelling.
1 - Something that's absolute irredeemable garbage. Absolutely no enjoyment to be had. Probably really painful to sit through. Zero reason to watch this. Just a total waste of time.
2- - Something that's also hot garbage, but there's at least one good aspect of it that keeps it from a 1/10. A good character, some few good jokes, decent visuals, but still very painful and no enjoyment to be had.
3 - Something around the same as a 2/10 but not painful to watch. Probably just frustrating. Something you just want to end already.
4 - Something just bad. Not horrible or awful but not something I'd ever want to sit through again. Has a few good aspects that I'm willing to embrace and possibly enjoy, but still overall not a very enjoyable experience.
5 - Something fine. Not bad, not good. Maybe this is just not for me. Sometimes I give this score to "disposable media". Stuff you consume then discard as soon as its over. Something I feel that wasn't painful but I could've done something better with my time.
6 - Something okay. Probably something heavily flawed but that I found some enjoyment in. Maybe this is, again, not for me, but still something I can't say is bad. This is the first score on the list that I could probably recommend to someone with caution.
7 - Something good. Something I enjoyed and don't regret watching. Felt like time well spent and something I could go back to and probably still enjoy it, even if the re-watch/re-read is way in the future.
8 - Something really good or even great. Just a solid entertaining piece of media. Sometimes I give this score to stuff I think have some flaws, but are still extremely enjoyable nonetheless. Could definitely re-watch/re-read this at some point.
9 - Something I love. Just an incredibly good time from start to finish and at best, these could be some of my favorites. Sometimes these are near 10s that have a few flaws from really reaching there, but still an easy recommendation.
10 - Something I adore. Something influential to me and that I could re-watch/re-read with glee. Something that I feel is a must watch due to how greatly it executes what it sets out to do. Not perfect, but incredible to me.
Again, these are guidelines and not hard rules. I always write something about the show in the tags, so if you're curious, I'd recommend reading them to see my further thoughts.

The first Episodes and the following first Episodes can be quite average.
I know that it can be for many people. So maybe for you as well.
But it will improve a lot afterwards.
